LockSafe Terms of Service
LockSafe is not an emergency service. It does not contact the police, ambulance or fire services. If you are in danger, call 999 (or your local emergency number) whenever you can. LockSafe is designed to work alongside the emergency services, never instead of them.
What LockSafe does
When you trigger an emergency, LockSafe alerts the trusted contacts you have added and shares your live location with them until you end it.
No guarantee of delivery
Alerts depend on mobile networks, SMS carriers, your phone's battery and signal, and your contacts noticing the message. Any link in that chain can fail. LockSafe tells you honestly when an alert could not be sent, but you must not rely on it as your only safety measure.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account details and PIN secure.
- Keep your trusted contacts up to date.
- Only trigger emergencies genuinely. Repeated false alarms may lead to your account being suspended.
- Only add people you reasonably believe are willing to be contacted. They must accept an invitation before they can ever be alerted, and a decline is permanent.
Your data
Governed by our Privacy Policy. The deletion promises made there are contractual, not marketing. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time.
